The Mason Trust Charity has reached a significant milestone - it is 10 years old this year! To celebrate this milestone anniversary, Founder, Yvonne Mason is personally funding and hosting an Anniversary Ball on the evening of 14 September 2018 at Sprowston Manor Marriot Hotel and Country Club, Wroxham Road, Norwich NR7 8RP. Tickets for the Ball, destined to be one of Norfolk's social events of the year, cost £50 per head, and can be purchased through the Eventbrite website. Booking a table for 10 people qualifies for two free bottles of wine.
The Mason Trust is a charity founded in 2008 with the mission of inspiring the young people of East Anglia to fulfil their potential.
It achieves its aim in many ways, from supplying information and advice through industry knowledge to providing funding for particular projects, global experiences, ambitions and vocations. Since being established, the Trust has made 395 grants totalling £602,000 helping in excess of 6,000 young people.
The Trust's education projects have impacted on another 7,000 young people in schools, where it provides workshops, careers events and assemblies, as well as providing advice to individuals and the young people who attended the Trust's three ‘Climate Run - Fit for your Future' events.
Yvonne Mason is an enthusiastic founder, fundraiser and lover of life, who comments:
"This Anniversary Ball promises to be an evening of great food, great company and great entertainment, and importantly, all the proceeds from the evening will go to The Mason Trust. There will be auctions and raffles to add to the excitement. My fellow Trustees and I believe implicitly in the benefits that The Mason Trust can offer our young people, and we can't think of a better way to both have a good time and to raise funds to take the organisation forward."
